Ulrike Butz studied Theology in Erlangen and Tübingen. On completing her Exams in 2006 she did her practical training for ministry in Gräfelfing and was ordained as a minister of the Protestant Church of Bavaria in 2008. From 2009-2010 she worked as an Assistant Minister at the Murrayfield Parish Church in Edinburgh, Scotland. In October 2010 she took up her current position as Scientific Assistant in the project “Autonomy and Trust”, and is working for her doctorate on the importance of trust for theological ethics.
