Eike Sven Fischer

Curriculum Vitae

Eike Sven Fischer studied Law in Hanover from May 2003 to November 2009. His core topic was "economic constitutional and management law", and he focused predominantly on regulations governing the medical professions during his studies. Even during his time at university, he worked in a neurological and psychiatric practice in Hanover and devoted himself to legal regulation in medical law, social security law and areas of medical corporate and salary law, including with reference to tax law. Particular focuses of his work included the practical and legal implementation of integrated care and medical and psychiatric support in palliative care. Since June 2010, he has been a junior lawyer (Referendar) at the Higher Regional Court in Braunschweig, including stations at Göttingen District Court, the Department of Sexual Offences at Göttingen Public Prosecutor's Office and in the town of Duderstadt. His current station is at a large chambers in Braunschweig, where he concentrates on medical law, representing both doctors and patients.

Since March 2011, he has been working as a research assistant in the research group "Autonomy and trust in modern medicine. Perception - practice – standards", part of the subproject Legal Theory/Medical Law, led by Prof. Dr. Gunnar Duttge.
