1. Symposium of the Junior Scientists in the Project

Trust in Modern Medicine

Subject:

As, in liberal modern societies, trust between the patient and the representative of the health care system is accepted and regarded as an integral aspect, it appears necessary to consider more closely the respective sociological and philosophical concepts of trust. Only thus is it possible to outline a model of human interaction and to scientifically approach the concept and analyze it in the context of the research project. Therefore the symposium will provide a platform for two representatives of contemporary research in trust, Prof. Bernd Lahno and Prof. Guido Möllering, to present their different conceptions of trust and to discuss them with the junior scientists.
